I was wondering how this helmet compares to others; namely Hugh Banner Olympus Helmet. I have heard different things about fitting headlamps on the Star Tech is there anything important I should know while considering my options?

i'm not familiar with the hb olympus (i guess it has a bungee-type cord that hooks?), but it doesn't look like there should be any real difficulty putting a headlamp on the camp startech. it looks like http://www.climberschoice.com/dept.asp?dept_id=2&store=2 and has the same two "hook" devices for the headlamp in the back as in the front.

Bob Davis and I have both had Star Techs for three years, and other than internal stuff needing regluing a few times, they rock.
