Owens River Gorge in Oct.

Hi,

 

I'm thinking about going to Owens River Gorge or somewhere on Oct. It is in the so distant future and plan is sketchy,though.

But I'm a climber in Japan, so I should be prepared early. That's why I'm wondering if someone is available on weekdays and weekends.On top of that, I'm looking for information.

I'm afraid I'm not the Taka. I've never lived in US. There're many "Taka", so it's natural to confuse.

That is funny. I lived in Mammoth 2001 and climbed with Taka at the ORG. He was a great guy. Not sure where he is at now.

I wonder if you know my old roommate/buddy Matt Ciancio? He climbed with Taka quite a bit. Both were really cool dudes. I lived in Mammoth from 93-02 and I get stoked thinking about the good old days. By the way, might you be the Ben that I met at Smith Rock a while back. I was with Aaron and you threw a rope up on some cool climb at the Picnic Lunch wall in the rain.
