When I climb non of the climbers want to stop and take piks and when I take pictures non of the photographers want to climb. I hope this forum can help. When I climb to take piks it will usually involve 1-2 days more time than typical to climb the same route.Example: Mt Hood N side sunshine route, usually a 1 day affair. Start in the dark and finish in mid afternoon at cloud cap.To take piks of sunrise and sunset and climbing I would have to high camp on shoulder above Coe glacier 10,500'- summit and take piks going up and coming down and get sunsets from that day and sunrise the next morning and then pack up tripod and gear and head down. This is an example of course but is anyone else interested in taking the extra time to do both.

I only climb on weekdays but if you are interested we can start to schedule a climb. Probably the 1st one would be North side of Hood next week if there is a clearing of weather for at least 3 days.call me at 503-888-2777
