The 'Alien Syndrome': Leeches that won't resign

The Bush administration has raised a crop of leaches that refuse to resign in the face of disgrace like no other in history. I think this reflects an unfortunate cultural shift to a 'no shame' way of thinking in this country. For example, when was the last time you heard a Bush voter actually admit that they fucked up in that decision? No, it's always someone else's fault.

 

On a related note, of the so called great powers, Russia, China, and Europe have all let go of the ideological bullshit that kept them from moving forward, while America refuses to give ours up, with predictably disastrous results. This is a widespread cultural deficiency that is not confined to the individual personalities of Gonzo and Wolfie.
