Light weight 0-20 deg bag

Can anybody recommend a ultra light weight down bag in this range. The Marmot H, He, Li series looks good but they seem a bit spendy. I've heard Ushba(sp?) but have no idea who carries them.

Western Mountaineering Versalite is a great bag. I'm sure the Freinds have something equally nice.

Jim Nelson sells Ushba at pro Mountain Sports.

But you really want ice tools anyway...

This is spendy, too, but it's about the best/lightest weight bag you'll find. A certain local store carries it but I recommend buying it direct from Nunatak. They have very good customer service.

I use Feathered Friend's Hummingbird sleeping bag which is good to 20 degrees and is/was the lightest and most compact down bag on the market.

Just a follow-up.

I ended up buying a Marmot Lithium. $299 at bent gate (thank you Will Strickland).

Some of the other light bags did not have enough room for things like boots & water bottles.

I have used it twice so far, Once in a tent at 12°F and once in a snow cave at 21°F. It was plenty warm both times and was comfortable and functional. I recommend it; particularly the foot room, the zipper and the mummy closure location.

For what it's worth the catalog photos don't do the color justice...it is the ugliest rotton pumkin motteled orange I have ever seen.
