I can remember climbing Sloe Children sans RPs and sans small cams and do no remember any runout. I fell at the cruz. I cannot for the life of me remember anyone suggesting the route was runout. chucK Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Didn't there used to be a bunch of fixed pins on the start of Sloe Children? That seems like the most runout part of SC to me. That step off the flake and the move or two until the crack opens enough for a piece, wondering if you fall whether you'll bust an ankle on the ledge, or rack your nuts across the belay slings, or both!
