fheimerd Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Anybody know what climbing in the tetons in the beginning of April is like. I'm thinking of snow/ice/rock routes and some ski mountaineering. Quote
ryland_moore Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Depends on the avi conditions, but this is a good time to get out if you are willing to work for it. Approaches can be really long and Sping weather can be a hit or miss. Quote
cman Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 weather can be crap that time of year. raining in the valley and wet snow up high. if you get a stretch of nice weather it can be awesome skiing. Also FYI they have had a low snow year and it has been pretty warm out there recently so expect low to no in the valley. Quote
