freethinker
Anyone have any experience with the Alpinista in cold weather? I like the idea of a single boot for not so cold times, but around the Tetons and other Idaho areas, will it be warm enough? Thanks.
stevo
I have the older version of the Alpinista and they are very warm. Granted, I have never had them in any extreme conditions. I have worn them on hood in the spring, rainier in the summer, and bozeman earlier this winter when it was about 7 degrees F, which is probably the coldest temperatures i have seen in them. My feet never got cold or wet. I have a buddy with the newer version and he has spent more time in them than myself with no complaints.
