  3. Selling my REI mountain 2 tent. Got it last december, only used it 3 times, all in good weather. Tent is in perfect condition. Paid $300, asking $175. E-mail me at sbognar05@msn.com if you are interested.
  4. Over the weekend i ripped the hell out of a pair of REI taku pants on the approach to colchuk crossing over a fallen tree. Anyone know of any places in the seattle or tacoma area where i can get these fixed? If not, does anyone know if there is an easy way I can repair them myself that doesnt involve duct tape? (I already tried that and it wouldnt stick to that particular material)
  5. I picked up a Bora 80 in september and it is hands down the most comfortable pack I have ever used. I guess you could say the pack is a little heavy, but it distributes weight so well I cant complain. 80 liters is huge, so I just ordered the Bora 50 for those times when 80 liters is too much and my 35L mammut isnt quite enough. I payed right around 300 USD, so i would say thats a good price. Also, look for closeouts, Arcteryx just redesigned the Bora line and I have seen quite a few on sale.
  6. I have the older version of the Alpinista and they are very warm. Granted, I have never had them in any extreme conditions. I have worn them on hood in the spring, rainier in the summer, and bozeman earlier this winter when it was about 7 degrees F, which is probably the coldest temperatures i have seen in them. My feet never got cold or wet. I have a buddy with the newer version and he has spent more time in them than myself with no complaints.
