jhattan Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 (edited) I'm in the process of cleaning out the gear closet. Some of this stuff I just don't use, and other things I'm just too poor to own right now. Ultimately I'm way too impulsive when it comes to buying gear. Ice Climbing Petzl Nomic ice tools w/ a new set of picks These tools have been lightly used. The shafts have a few scratches, and the picks have a little bit of wear. Included is a set of new, in the packaging Astro picks. $400 shipped SOLD Petzl Dart Crampons These crampons are in great shape. Excellent for mixed or technical ice. Step-in binding or bolt 'em on for a superlight fruit boot setup. $80 + shipping Clothing Cloudveil Ice Floe Gloves Size small, still in great shape. I purchased these cheap from Sierra Trading Post in August and have used them a handfull of times since. I just got a pair of BD Punisher gloves for Christmas, and like them better. Pictures available upon request. $25 + Shipping SOLD GoLite Full Moon Pants size Small A lightweight, synthetic insulated, full zip puffy pant. $25 + shipping SOLD Patagonia Stretch KruShell size Small This superlight soft shell jacket is the predecessor of the current Patagonia Ready Mix jacket. $40 + shipping Packs Mountain Hardwear Phenom Pack Description from the Mountain Hardwear website: The Phenom is a technical climbing pack designed to accommodate the tools and gear required for a big climb or a day in the backcountry. Tough and lightweight fabrics, dual-density shoulder straps and plenty of quick release compression straps make the Phenom ultra-compressible and comfortable for all day expeditions. Pictures available upon request. $50 + Shipping GoLite Gust Pack This is a size small first generation GoLite Gust pack. The pack is in really good shape, and I've made two modifications to it. First, I sent the pack in to GoLite and had them add compression straps, and the second being a small hole to accommodate a hydration hose. The weight of the pack with the added compression straps is 21 oz. $25 + Shipping Grivel Manu Pack Description from the Grivel website: This simple and efficient idea combines a vest-style double gear sling with detachable miniature rucksack. The gear sling -- made from die-cut contoured foam and reinforced nylon sling -- allows comfortable transport of an otherwise awkward quantity of gear. Use the rucksack to carry shoes for the descent, car keys, water, snacks, or rain gear. Or leave it at the base but take the gear vest with you. The unique attachment system allows you to access contents of the pack without removing it. While originally designed for alpine rock and big wall use, the Manu is also suited to alpine routes where technical terrain demands that the leader either carries nothing or - in a colder environment like Alaska - punches it with a small bag holding water, snacks and a belay jacket. In this instance the second climber carries a heavier pack using the confidence and security supplied by the top-rope to deal with the extra weight. Nearly packless the leader moves fast and free until he runs out of rope - or gear if simul-climbing - then it’s simple to swap both pack and rack with the partner taking over the sharp end. The rucksack (without the gear sling) can be attached to the Alpine Light to increase capacity. Pictures available upon request. $20 + shipping CiloGear 60 Liter WorkSack Roomy and lightweight pack. Great for a day of ice cragging or multiday excursions. This pack has been used a handful of times and is in excellent shape. It's a size small and fits torso sizes 15 to 17 inches. $75 + shipping Ski Rossignol B-Squad Boots US size 8.5. The boots have seen two days of skiing, and are in near new condition. I wear a size 9 shoe, and these boots fit great in length, but are not wide enough for my fat feet. $300 shipped.
