Dechristo Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Paris Hilton was arrested in Hollywood at approximately 12:30 am Thursday for driving under the influence. Apparently she was “driving erratically.” “The officers observed that Hilton exhibited the symptoms of intoxication. A field sobriety test was conducted at scene, and the officers determined she was driving under the influence,” Isabella said, reading a police statement. Quote
cj001f Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 FOR THE LAST TIME! NO, I do not know why CA does not have the death penalty for drunken driving. I wish they did Quote
archenemy Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 There is a death penalty for drunk driving in every state; it's just not consistent. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Quote
E-rock Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 DWI/DUI is a law-enforcement racquet. Consequences are continually made more severe for lessening blood-alcohol-levels. M.A.D.D. have not made the roads any safer, they've merely lobbied us towards a more totalitarian system that punishes a crime of potential more severely than the data warrants. Quote
