Climb: Pearly Gates-A couple of climbs

 

Date of Climb: 8/13/2006

 

Trip Report:

Drug pigpen up to the Pearly Gates and despite the blazing heat, clouds of dust, and the threat of rattlesnakes, mosquitos and countless other dangers, we lived. Pigpen climbed a little, screamed at me to let him down, and through a fit and then laid down in the dirt with took a nap for five minutes. He then leaped up and ran around again and sprinted out ahead on the hike out.

Little kids tire easily, but they have an amazing ability to recuperate. A little power nap and they are ready to run circles around you once more.
