Cascadian couloir conditions?

Anyone been up the Cascadian lately and wouldn't mind posting some comments on the conditions? Crampons at this juncture in the season? We're hoping to take a beginner up this weekend and would like some info.

How much snow is on the hike in from Teanaway?

I descended it ~10 days ago, there was snow most of the way. It faces south, and we were descending in the afternoon, so it was pretty soft. Obviously conditions could be totally different early in the day after a cool night.

 

From Teanaway, snow was mostly continuous above 5500ft or so.

Sorry Kitergal, we ended up going elsewhere last weekend. We're heading up to Stuart this coming weekend instead.
