Alpental expansion-when?

I saw a map and write-up of the planned Alpental expansion.

Gondola to the top and a new chair up the intenational area.

Anybody know a timeline for when this is gonna happen? It looks way cool.

The only bad thing is it doesn't really open up any new terrain. It would have been cool to see it push toward Pineapple pass.

The original, "lure the investors", plan for Alpental involved Lifts to the top of Mt. Snoqualmie, the Olympics, and yada, yada, yada.

This was not only pre-global warming but pre Alpine Lakes Wilderness as well. I'm not familiar with the boundaries but I would almost bet any dreams at Alpental are constrained by them to some extent.
