mtn_mouse Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 Anyone here have beta on Mt Dana (in the Olympics)? We are planning on a major Olympic bushwack with unmanageable packs, skis sticking out the top for added fun, a nice cold wet river ford, and a nice snowy ascent to the top. Looking at next month. Been there before, but that was by helicopter, so I don't think that counts. There is no trail, and poor descriptions in the guide book. We think we know the secret key to the top, but wouldnt mind advice.... Quote
faster_than_you Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 My advice is to bring Ted of Talkeetna along. His presence will be a force multiplier in your quest for drudgery and suffering. Quote
mtn_mouse Posted March 15, 2006 Author Posted March 15, 2006 Mt Dana expedition over! Yes FTY ted of talkeetna was indeed a source of drudgery and suffering, not to mention a good source of laughs for the next few years. Quote
mtn_mouse Posted March 17, 2006 Author Posted March 17, 2006 Hey! TR may follow, but now, just recovering from the hangover. Quote
