Please remember to vote tomorrow.

For the Seattle folks, the Climbers Action Network made their own guide with analysis:

http://www.climbersactionnetwork.org/VotingGuide2005.htm

Regardless of whether you think their guide and their opinions are crap, they have useful links to the unbiased voters pamplets, as well as other guides by local papers.

If anyone else has useful guides, please post links here. Please keep any partisan attacks to Spray.

Let me see if I have this right? You post a link to a patently partisan site that claims to represent climbers (not me!), but want to remain insulated from debate? You should have posted this crap in Spray to begin with. Maybe a mod should move it there.

Hey Fairweather,

You voting to give up your rights via I-330?

And are you cutting out of work early today? tongue.gif

Here's another set of endorsements.

A citizen can only vote to "give up their rights" via constitutional ammendment. I-330 does no such thing.

It is beyond me how this organization can be against state audits. WTF?

Is this group tax-exempt? Do they really exist? I've been climbing for 20 years and have never heard of them.

I went in at 5:15am today. moon.gif

Yeah WTF! That climber vote site doesn't give a reason for its dislike of I-900. Maybe it's because it's got Eyman attached to it? That seems like it'd b a pretty good reason to slam-dunk that thing in the no column all by itself. You can check out the Stranger's reasons for being against it (in my link above), something about duplicating an existing agency and putting more power in the hands of anti-govt republicans....hmmmm

Yeah those guys better not be tax exempt. Taking positions contrary to Republican ideology could be dangerous to their tax exempt status

Yes. God forbid we actually hold our state agencies accountable for the money we give them.....all-the-while your ilk tries to give them even more!

BTW, how can Republicans - who by definition are part of the government - be anti-government? hellno3d.gif I think what you really meant to say is anti-waste.

Didn't Reagan say something about government being the enemy?

found it,

" In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem."

Fairweather, the site has merit because it lists some unbiased sites and because it offers some opinions that you can read and decide if you agree or disagree with. For example, the smoking initiative, where they provide a statement for and a statement against.

I'm not posting crap and I'm not insulating it from debate. If you have a voters guide from the NRA and would wish to post that, please do.

I want people to vote and to be educated, and I was providing one of many resources.

I don't want this thread to turn into an inane flamewar.
