benmurphy Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Climb: Glacier Peak-Cool Glacier Date of Climb: 8/28/2005 Trip Report: Three of us climbed Glacier Peak this weekend along similar route posted a month ago. Route is still in great shape, considerably less snow than the pictues from previous report. Lots of loose rock/pumice/etc. Great weather/great views all weekend. Sat 0830 Left TH 1430 Swimming/sunning 1730 Camp - Glacier Gap Sun 0330 Left Camp 0700 Summit 0730 Left summit 0945 Camp 1100 Left camp 1500 Swimming/sunning 1730 TH and cold beer Didn't see a single person beyond White Pass. Beautiful area. Gear Notes: 8mm 60m rope, crampons, ice axe. Approach Notes: No snow to Glacier Gap (camp). Lots of loose rock. Quote
