Will I have to break trail from PCT ? I now it's scorchin', but has anybody been up this route lately ?

i did the N ridge 4 of july and that approach was clear up to 5000 with very infrequent snow to 6400. hope this helps

I think that most of the snow would be avoidable for most of the route at this point. It's a pretty unappealing scree slog from what I remember.

I thought someone here said they did it solo, had to break trail from PCT. I believe it was last summer, not sure.

Thanks Bro, that was the one. It's allready August and I haven't done anything yet ! I was up there lastweek and it really got my heart pumping again to see it. I'm gonna give it a try in the next week or so.
