To_The_Top Posted August 15, 2001 Posted August 15, 2001 Just heard there is a Lahar on the Nisqually (MT RAINIER) according to the Pierce Co Sherriff. May have taken out two campsites but not considered serious--no one injured as of yet. A lahar is a slide of snow, ice or dirt debreis sweeping down a river drainage.
