info. for the thin red line

does anybody have info for the thin red line on liberty bell(ie. gear, are there 3/8 bolts for anchors, and is it still a nailing route). any info is welcome.

Re the comments in the linked thread about parking at the switchback: I wuz in the neighborhood a couple of weeks back. There were several cars parked there. No tickets in sight, no No Parking signs that I saw, & no sign of the law.
