David Trippett Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Has anyone purchased a Arc'teryx jacket of late and had a problem with the bill being too floppy? My friend has an older model and the bill is made from stiffer material. When I tension the drawstrings on mine it does a imitation of a sine curve...I contacted the company and they were dicks. I think I'll return it. What happened to them?...used to be a good company. Quote
featheredfriends Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Bummer about your hood, and ditto for the customer service. Call us at the shop and we can give you a phone number to someone who will treat you right. As for the hood fit on your Beta AR, the one we have in the shop does not exhibit the sine wave brim effect. Neither do any of the other recent Arc' arrivals. You may just have an unusually understiffened brim. This sounds like a warranty issue. Good luck. Quote
