Anyone ventured up to Static point this winter? It's essentially South facing so it seems that it "should" be in condition minus a few seeps.

Also, I found the topo but am unclear as to how far up Mid Fk the Fee Demo Wall is. Mention is made : "one mile up middle fork trail".

Is that the Trail up to Goldmeyer?

Sorry to rehash this but location info was unavailable via the "search option"

Mattp recently posted in some thread or other (search function is down) that he was there on 2/20, the trail had 2-12 inches of snow, but the rock was dry and the climbing was good. I think road to the parking was fine. PM Matt for more details.

It is less than a mile up the Middlefork Trail from the bridge at Taylor River. There is a big parking lot there with two pit toilets. You can't miss it.

If you were to continue on up the Middlefork Trail you would come to first Dingford Creek where there is another bridge and eventually Goldmyer Hot Springs after about 12 miles. I've done the hike. It is pleasant, if not awe inspiring.
