foolscongress Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 don't do it. it's not necessary, and there's something just wrong about the image. bang the mud off them when you get home, store in a cool, dry place. clean and reapply your waterproofing of choice twice a year if you climb a lot. that's it. While not exactly 'climbing' boots, I did smash the toe box enough while kicking steps the first season I wore them to kill my toenails a couple of times the next season before I figured out what the problem was.
