cracked Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 He [bush] made an unscheduled stop on his bus tour at the Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop, where he ordered a vanilla custard. Read all about it!! Shocking story! Seriously, can the media get any more pathetic? Quote

murraysovereign Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 Have you tried Fox News? After hearing so much about this outfit, today I actually checked out their site, and there's some pretty cutting-edge journalism going on there. For instance, this headline caught my eye: Next two months will likely determine the next president of the United States. Now, I don't know all the ins and outs of how the media work, but you have to figure that in-depth, comprehensive election analysis doesn't come cheap. So cut them some slack, will you? After all, explaining current affairs to an audience of two-year-olds probably isn't as easy as you might think. Quote
slothrop Posted September 4, 2004 Posted September 4, 2004 Only dirty hippies ride bikes when they could drive instead, so Bush could not have possibly given this as his reason for purchasing the vanilla custard: He said, "I'm getting ready for a bike ride tomorrow." What do those liberals at CNN think we are, a bunch of simpletons? Hey cracked, guess what? MoveOn.org is not a news organization! Quote
