Greg Child has written six books and many magazine articles, and he's a veteran of 14 Himalayan expeditions. Everest, K2, Shipton Spire and Trango Tower are just a few of the peaks he's climbed. On his tour for The North Face he'll present "High Adventures," a slide show that takes in an oxygenless ascent of K2, huge rock climbs and near misses to avalanche in Pakistan, and a visit to the recently war-torn towers of Kyrgyzstan. His most recent book, "Over the Edge," will be available at the show.

Space is limited and we expect a capacity crowd! Please arrive very early to assure yourself a seat.

Greg will also be signing books after the show.

Hope to see you there!

Yeah, it was pretty good. He showed slides from K2, Trango Tower, and a trip to the Ak-su/Kara-su region (where Tommy Caldwell et al. got shot at a while later). The best part was the photos of a small-building-sized flake breaking off Trango Tower as Greg and partner sat at a belay a few hundred feet away. Always wear your helmet!

Apparently, camels are more fearsome than even the notorious [sNAFFLEHOUND] . At least :snaffle:s don't vomit on you while kicking your shins.
