Salomon Pro Rock Boot

Does anyone own these boots? Does anyone have any feedback? I am considering these and they fit like a glove but they have no history and no one has given them a good or bad review yet. If you own them, could you please give me some honest feedback and tell me what conditions you have tested them in?

The whole "they fit like a glove" thing sounds like a good reason to get 'em.

Careful about the fit though, I bought a pair of super mountain 9 boots by soloman and I don't really like the fit now, I have a pretty narrow foot and the toebox always mashes my feet just enough to cause discomfort, on multi-day trips I really notice this.

I own a pair.

 

They do fit very well, and they climb quite well as well. I've done steep snow and a little ice in them as well as mid-fifth class rock climbing.

 

The only problem that I have with them is that they seem to get wet rather easily. In the sloppy Cascade snow sometimes my feet are really quite wet in these boots. I have treated them, but they still leak a bit.

 

Either early season or late season when the snow is not knee deep slush they are fine.

One opinion is plenty... I appreciate it. I am kind of bummed that they can saturate easily considering that they are for snow travel and all of my other boots don't give me that problem. They will be put to the test this weekend...Thanks again!
