Ascension skin tip attachments

Hey freshiez freakz,

 

I've got Ascension skins with the green rubbery tip attachment. Recently, the rubber tore (OMG!) and I need a replacement. Does anyone know where I can find one?

 

Or has anyone successfully used the STS tip loops on skins that once had the green thingies? From the looks of it, I'll have to shorten the folded-over section of the skin that's holding the tip attachment on and I don't know if I'll have enough material for the STS loop to stretch around my ski tip.

marmot over in bellevue has carried those green skin tips in the past...picked some up there last year...they might still stock them.
