Movie review: B.C. Rock

anyone ever heard of or seen a movie called B.C. Rock ??

 

animation flick from 1984 (site linked above has date wrong by 10 yrs). it's about Stuey Babcock, a caveman who at a young age was kicked out of the cave by his family. so he ends up befriending a dopey brontosaurus, a pterodactl who talks in jive, a tribe of sultry amazon-ladycats, and more. soundtrack includes the likes of Genesis, Hall&Oates, & other early 80s classicrock cheese.

 

can be found in the "Non-Children's Animation" section of Scarecrow Video... and no, it's not exactly cartoon-porn... but it does involve "mature themes", including but not limited to sex.

 

anyway, I saw it in high school and remember just laughing and laughing and laughing. is officially out of print/production, so I couldn't find it for years... then I just did recently at scarecrow.

 

HIGHLY recommend it to all with a twisted/offbeat sense of humor.

It is pretty funny. At least I thought it was when I was in 7th grade.

oh yeah, that reminds me... forgot to mention one thing. when I saw it a few nights ago I didn't laugh quuiite as hard as when I saw it in HS.. but it was still cracked me up bigtime.
