robert Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 I just got an X6hr yesterday. I am going to take it out this weekend. Any tips on getting the best accuracy? I have it on my wrist at work right now and the temp is way off. I carried my old Avocet on my sternum strap. Is that a good idea for the Suunto too? Quote

robert Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 Have you noticed any corelation between temp and pressure? The Avocet said that having the sensor touching your body raised the temp and as a result lowered the pressure. Quote
Thinker Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 I haven't noticed it on my Suunto, but I haven't really looked for it either. I believe I read that the internal algorithms compensate for temperature changes. Quote
