very adorable small female grey and white cat needs home. she's been living w/us for about 9 months now. she's very sweet but will not adjust to having dogs in the house. keeps hiding in the chimney so she needs a new home. think she's about 18 months old

Minx,

Try this: If you have a no-kill shelter in the Seattle area, which I think you must, take her there. Waaaaaay better than the HS/pound, where they just kill 'em if they don't get adopted out in 72 hours.

You might have to have her spayed/get shots before the no-kill place will take her, or they might already have an arrangement with a local vet that will do it for you/them for free/cheeeep. And you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are personally contributing to the success of the No More Homeless Pets mission. wave.gif

sobo-

i won't take her to a shelter unless it's a no kill. if anyone knows of a no kill shelter in the seattle area let me know. is there one in yakivegas? the spayed thing is a given.

There is one NK shelter here in Yakivegas, owned/operated by the Patnode family, way out in West Valley. I'm pretty sure that this is their homepage.

Also, check out these links.

I think there is also an "animal friendly" adoption newspaper in Seattle area called Pet Finder or Pet Friends or something like that.

The above links should help quite a lot. Good luck on finding your "alpine kitty" a new and happy home.

if i had the power i'd delete it. sorry about that sobo! btw- thanks for all the helpful info. i'm sure we'll find this kitty a good home on way or another. i'm just not willing to dump her off at the humane society and hope.

I don't think it was you. I think our server got busted by a script-kiddie last night. Both of our offices (Seattle and Yakima) were infected about 5:00 last evening. When I clicked on SnailEye's link, I got redirected to some soft-core porn site from Russia, where "Oksana", a lively little Russian 18-year-old hottie, was spreading her legs for all the world to see.

It surprised me to get this when I was expecting to be directed to a no-kill shelter. "Oksana" ended up fucking up our whole network system, resetting EVERYONE'S home page to her page. Kinda funny when the Higher-ups started getting hit.

I retract my expletive. Again, I don't think it was the link itself or anyone intentionally causing harm from this board, but rather some hacker somehow got his rocks off by writing some new code to piss people off. I'm mad at him/her, not you.

Did anyone else get bit by "Oksana the 18-year-old from Russia" last night/this morning?

PS: We are back up and running, but the IT staff has been REALLY busy this morning. Happened only to peeps using Netscape for their browser. IE seemed to be immune this time.

I'm sorry if it was my link that caused anyone harm. When I sent it, it would bring up a video clip/joke of a cat and the sun roof of a car. Crude maybe but defninetly not a pron link. It worked just fine with no problems when I sent it. I tryed to bring it up again today but I could not get in. I got some kind of exceded band width message. To be on the safe side, I tryed to delete the link. I got a message saying time had expired to edit the post. If there is still a way to do it could someone PM me and let me know how? If not, I don't recomend trying the link. Good luck adopting out the cat.
