himalayson Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 My partner dropped out so I am looking for a climbing partner(s) who would like to climb in the Indian Himalayas - 6,316 meters (20,720'), nothing very technical but some snow-climbing experience needed. I am planning to go end of April very economically with costs about $2700. In light of the new and upgraded travel warnings by the State Dept. for Nepal and Pakistan some of you who were planning to go there might want to consider the Indian Himalayas. Check out the mountain at summitpost Bandarpoonch or for climb details see my site at Climbing the Himalayas Quote

Fromage Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 If there are no telepheriques or huts where you can buy half-bottles of Bourguignon then I'm not interested. Â Quote
colt45 Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 According to your website, the trip departs from the east coast in 14 days! Good luck finding partner(s) with a supremely flexible schedule and $3,000 to burn... Quote
himalayson Posted April 3, 2004 Author Posted April 3, 2004 I decided to repost it because of significant changes like trip dates and links to sites about the trip. The response has been better. Quote
himalayson Posted April 8, 2004 Author Posted April 8, 2004 I have recently found a parter who looks like will work out. New dates for the trip are April 30-May 16. Expenses will go down considerably to add another person, to $1500 inclusive of airfare! Quote
himalayson Posted April 12, 2004 Author Posted April 12, 2004 My prospecective partner had an emergency and had to cancel, so I am again without a partner. Keep responding. Quote
