Wanted: Trango Russian Aid System

These things are impossible to find new or used since Trango quit making them. I need a set for a trip in late April. If someone has a pair of these aiders that they do not want, I'll pay you a fair price. Thanks.

I use this system. Just a heads up, if you can find an extra "tree" (the rings/aider part) it can be very helpful in awkward corners or other situations where you need to stem in your aiders. You won't use it much, but when you need it, you'll be glad to have it. Trango used to sell extra trees.

 

Also, don't believe it when Trango says you don't need daisies for this system. Their instruction sheet says something about not needing them and shows a pic of a guy on an indoor wall without daises. While you certainly could get by without them on vertical or less, you would need abs of steel. Overhanging terrain would be a complete nightmare.
