Dru Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 http://www.cbc.ca/stories/2004/03/15/world/singapore_gum040315 So the USA has exerted significant pressure on Singapore to legalize chewing gum. No doubt as a result of lobbying of politicians by Topps and Wrigley etc. Now when Canada, already with legalized gum, tries to decriminalize marijuana you get all upset? Quote
scott_harpell Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 How did I know this was gonna involve Singapore? Quote
murraysovereign Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 Now when Canada, already with legalized gum, tries to decriminalize marijuana you get all upset? They're just not seeing the big picture : smoking pot = the munchies = increased chewing gum sales. Once they realize that connection, they'll be leaning on countries to make marijuana a mandatory part of school lunch programs. Quote
Dru Posted March 15, 2004 Author Posted March 15, 2004 isn't it already? "Say, Mister HAND, how come you're always like that guy on Hawaii 5-0? Huh?" Quote
