char Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 How do these bindings hold up to regular skiing? I was thinking of getting a pair on sale. I was going to use them as an everyday touring, yo-yo sort of setup. I'm not a huge guy so I don't need a high DIN binding, I'm usually running a 7 and releasing when I want. I'm 5'8" and 140 pounds so I'm not the kind of person who can strap on heavy gear and expect to make it through the day. I thought about Dynafit but that would neccessitate new boots, a luxury I can't afford right now. "Buy Freerides" comments are appreciated but these are cheap. Quote
cracked Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 Go for it, I know plenty aggressive skiers who ski it at the resort as well as the bc. Quote
Fejas Posted February 20, 2004 Posted February 20, 2004 I just bought a pair. looking up close they don't seem like they are built any less then the free rides, I know the free rides are heavy duty, but the Diamirs apear to be pretty sturdy themselves. Especialy for a lighter weight and small foot size like yourself... I liked the spring back action of them too. I got the breakes throne in for free, ski shops want to get rid of gear right now, so you can bargin... Quote
