skyclimb Posted October 24, 2003 Posted October 24, 2003 (edited) need a tent for some upcoming trips, and need your opinions: Is the i-tent comfortable for extended periods of time for two people? It the fitzroy worth its size in weight? can anyone bro deal this shit??? Thanks Edited October 24, 2003 by skyclimb Quote
Kevin_Ristau Posted October 25, 2003 Posted October 25, 2003 I have spent some time in an Integral Designs tent - basically the same as an I-tent. There was more than enough room for two guys at 5'10. The vestibule makes a big difference. On snow, with a footwell dugout it starts to get downright comfortable. Quote
Lambone Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 Get the I-Tent The reason to spend the $ on this tent is to have something you can carry on a climb. The Fitzroy is too heavy for this, and needs a larger space to set it up. The I-Tent is plenty strong, if you need some more room go with the Eldo. Quote

I've spent time on Rainier in the I, the Fitz, and the Eldo. I bought the Eldo for pretty much the same reasons Lambone gave. Quote
