blackshaw Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 I was hoping to climb the main (south) Cowlitz chimney in a one day trip, if the weather allows, in the next 2-3 weeks. Starting from the White River trailhead about 5.00am, would that be enough time? Any updated advice, further than Fred Beckey's book, on this climb/scramble? Many thanks Quote
Stefan Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 Starting at 5:00a.m. will give you enough time. I found this website very helpful. Eric has great information on the standard route. http://www.ericsbasecamp.net/trips/CowlitzChimney/CowlitzChimney.htm Quote
