Dave_Schuldt
I have heard that the frying pan glacier is a good ski. I figure you could just falow other people and see where they go. From what I have heard there isn't any thing steep. My # 206-547-2633.
cman
I have been in that area and it is not ideal for skiing. from sunrise you would have to cruise out a flat ridge to get to the skiing. A better place, i think would be lake mowich up to the russel glacier. you can get a lot of vert. Â unfortunately i just called and the road is closed 5 miles short of the lake and will open next weekend. Â i think i will try to do some climbing instead. Beck
..skiing on Friday, anyone? Day trip from Seattle, and back in time to see the fireworks(I would be so totally out of town but i have to work in city) Â If it is a bluebird day, skiing on the fourth of July is a great two-fer, and sure to inspire watercooler envy in the flag toting laz-z-boy-ers.
