Timmy:

Did you land your space ship on Green Lake? I noticed a huge perfect circle on the ice yesterday as I gazed down from the summit of Broken Top. It was just like a crop circle but on the skanky ice of Green Lake. The digital photo doesn't show it in enough detail, but there are other witnesses. It sure looked like a spaceship had landed on the lake, and it was only detectable from the summit. wazzup.gif

You've been posting TRs about Plabfeasts on South and Middle Sisters, so you are prime suspect. Fess up, have you been taking the space ship shuttle up the mountains for your corn snow harvest? It would be a lot easier than skinning up them chosspiles. cantfocus.gif

BTW, after Saturday night's blizzard and yesterday's temperatures not a mosquito or bug was seen from the Spark's Lake campground to the summit or on the return slog. So your green bodily fluids are safe again. I was wondering though, how can mosquitos hatch from a frozen lake? moon.gif

And the snow (barely solid water) still covers the trail from well before Fall Creek all the way to the NW Ridge. Your beta was suspect, but the mountain rockband.gif.

The question remains how did that big circe get on the Lake ice?

the only thing green that comes out of me (besides my mad BLING BLING when I"m at STARS) is poop after I eat at Super Taco in bend.

Sure there wasn't much snow before fall creek, it was patchy at best, besides, techinically, one crosses fall creek within about 50 yards of the green lakes TH, SOOOOOO, my beta was dead on man! wave.gif

You skillfully avoided the question, did you see the big circle in the ice on the lake? It musta been 30-40 yards in diameter. Someone spent some time doing that.

Eat at Robertos instead of Super Taco. That'll cut down on the green ooze.

There is still snow on the trail well south of the creek crossing at the bridge. Crossing there is a lot easier than trying to follow the trail along the lava flow. Only a few snow bridges or step-across places between the bridge and Green Lakes.

I still think you've been flying the Millenium Falcon around the Sisters Wilderness. bigdrink.gif
