Off_White Posted June 2, 2003 Share Posted June 2, 2003 It occurs to me that some here may know John Wason, from Ventura, Truckee, Bozeman, Flagstaff, Bellingham, Olympia, and New Hampshire. He was recently injured high on the face (I don't know which route) by a sizable falling rock that broke tib-fib and shattered an ankle. Long Doug-Scott-On-The-Ogre style self-rescue retreat, complete with partner falling unroped into crevasse while fetching sled, resulted in successful evacuation.
