olyclimber Posted February 26 Posted February 26 That is smoking deal. I have nothing planned for the rest of my life that could justify it, so I will hold off. This is gonna move. Quote
Albert_Pynstardt Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Retail price for a similar FF bag is $1,200 and FF bags hold their value. People are gearing up for Denali now, that would be your target market. The right person would be happy to pay $600 for this bag. 1 Quote

I agree you could sell it for more but you’ll need to be patient. It’s “people who are climbing Denali or similar “ so not the biggest pool of people. But they exist and we’ve had people on here looking for a bag just like this relatively recently. Quote
Lee Ward Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 Ok, cool thanks for the encouragement. what do you think about the other down gear i have, like ladies sleeping bag, 8000m down coat and 8000m down pants? thanks for letting me know, and i appreciate all that you are doing for us Cascade Climbers!!! They are all in the same boat. We have people come through here looking for that kind of thing all the time. Be patient and give it time. Quote
Lee Ward Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 ok fantastic. really appreciate it. i saw yesterday you mentioned something to someone about social media? not sure what that was about? thanks Quote
olyclimber Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I shared a picture of the rack you’re selling on Instagram. There are a lot of people who no longer come here but follow our instagram account. I stopped using the Facebook account we have. But doing that got more eyes on your stuff. I don’t really like doing it, but need to remind the Instagram generation we still exist and are an alternative when/if they ever get sick of “being the product” . Quote
Lee Ward Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 It makes me worry that a guy wrote me on cascade climbers that I should list the stuff on Mt project? What was that about??? Quote
olyclimber Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I don’t use that site. Perhaps there are more people over there. I think it’s a corporate site, owned by OnX. it’s another place you could offer stuff for sale. You could also put it on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace. Quote
