DPS Posted February 25, 2003 Posted February 25, 2003 An article in the newspaper mentioned a snow mobiler from Spokane died in an avalanche in Idaho over the weekend. His name was Kopczynski I wonder if he is related to Chris Kopczynski who climbed with John Roskelly for many years? Quote
pindude Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 (edited) Pat Kopczynski was his cousin, and according to Chris, was a real nice human being and a good father. All in all, it was a pretty bad Saturday here in the Inland NW. Pat left behind a wife and 4 kids (2 by previous marriage). BC skier Tim Parnow of Sandpoint got buried about 90 minutes before and about 10 miles south of where Pat got buried. He left behind a wife and a daughter.
