EV Posted October 19, 2001 Posted October 19, 2001 Metolius has come out with an adjustable daisy chain. Of course, there is the standard daisy chain (DC)with the loops in it. FOR AID CLIMBING, does anyone have any advice on which way to go? Any info would be much appreciated. TIA Quote
Wallstein Posted October 19, 2001 Posted October 19, 2001 The new Metolius daisies are great except they do wear out rather quickly. Once the webbing gets worn out just go buy new 11/16 flat webbing and replace the old stuff. They will also slip if they get alittle twisted. I still prefer my standard oversized spectra daisies. I use an adjustable fifi which does the same job as the adj-daisies. I find it easer to bust free moves out of my aidiers and get into my grab loops. Quote
EddieE Posted October 22, 2001 Posted October 22, 2001 If you can find the Kong Slyde, that thing rules over the Metolius. I found mine at Pagan Mountaineering in Moab, and haven't found it anywhere else. http://www.kong.it/doc408.htm Quote
texplorer Posted October 22, 2001 Posted October 22, 2001 Kong Slyde. . .sounds like the scariest ride at a waterpark. Quote
