Uppers are clean and in great shape, there is remaining sole life and no bad odor. Not all crusty and dried out from sweat and sun. Eur. 41.5, US 9.5. Made in Spain. Asking $37.00 shipped. PPFF or please add 3%. Sizing - Inside measurement of the leather foot bed, toe to heel is 9&3/4". This is with the tape right on the insole. Off_White Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 Nice pair of dinosaur slippers. I've still got my first generation Fires from 1984, I forgot my EB's on a trip to Joshua Tree and wound up trading with Ray Olsen from FROG in an exchange in HVCG. Mine must be on the fifth sole or something; not a modern shoe for certain, but a great pair of all day shoes, mine still get out in the mountains on occasion. 1 Quote
normankirk Posted April 23, 2018 Author Posted April 23, 2018 That's a lot of resoles! Nice that you keep them in use! I see you are a moderator, would you tell me how I can make bold lettering in my posting title? Cheers, Norm Quote
Off_White Posted April 23, 2018 Posted April 23, 2018 I think titles are only bold when you have not read the thread, after looking at it it goes to a normal font. Quote
JosephH Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 (edited) I still have my old pair, last dug them out in 2004 and had them paved over with c4 for Epinephrine - worked like a charm and were totally comfortable. Edited April 24, 2018 by JosephH Quote
normankirk Posted April 24, 2018 Author Posted April 24, 2018 (edited) Sweet! Hard to recognize the shoes without the red laces - Cheers! Edited April 24, 2018 by normankirk Changed comment Quote
JosephH Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 Yeah, they got used enough the red laces didn't survive. Would wear them again tomorrow if I were doing the route again. Quote
