  1. If you have even nominal rock experience, you may want to consider the SE Ridge route of the pyramid. Even if the gulley is snow-free, this is 5.fun! A little exposure but the views are outstanding en route. Bring a handful of long slings, a couple chocks/cams and you're set. You can then rap the gulley. I've done both and now prefer the ridge. Just a suggestion.
  2. Great thread! I'm a geezer (51) looking to finish a three decade old goal of summiting the 9000'+ peaks of WA. Down to 5: Stuart, Bonanza, Jack, Logan and Buckner. Just ticked NE Buttress of Goode last year. Also looking to keep it "reasonable". Climbing/skiing Shuksan via Sulphide this week so hit me up here or maybe we'll meet up out on the rock! Thanks!!
  3. Trip: Glacier Peak - Standard - south rib via N. Fork Sauk River Trip Date: 07/7-8/2019 Trip Report: Two day trip up standard route with Abram. Seems about the best time of year. Several small cravasses to step over below Disappointment Peak. Snow conditions were optimal! Long approach and hike out. Go light. Thanks for a great adventure! Gear Notes: helmet, crampons, 30m rope, pickets (not used) Approach Notes: Trail to White Pass and White Creek drainage in good shape and snow free (several down trees, Mackinaw shelter finally collapsed...sad). Foam Creek drainage 95% snow free. Snow remains in upper basins, good boot track. Camp sites at Glacier Gap snow free.
