I live in the tri cities but am willing to travel to climb: Exit 38, Leavenworth, Smith and even Vantage if nothing else is available. Are there anchors at the top of most of the peaks on the traverse or would you need to bring slings to rapell off the summit?

Basin Lake Trail(#987) up by Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. Yellow and White long haired boarder collie. One ears floppy and one is straight up. Really happy and good natured dog, and is deaf. A friend of mine lost his dog up by lake basin, they were riding horses out and the dog must have stopped to play in the water and got left behind. There is a tent set up there for the outfitters and he just went back there. He was seen Wed and we went in to get him Sat but someone must have walked him out. If you know of anyone who has seen this dog or has it, please contact me. Thanks!

Has anyone climbed Mt Shasta via the Avalanche Gulch route in the last couple weeks? Im curious to know what the snow conditions are like.
