wayne1112 - I'm in the same boat but much further along. I just had my second surgery (1 on each knee). I wasted time with 2 doctors for a long time and regret not making a change sooner. My current doc is awesome - up on all the latest stuff, a nationally ranked ortho surgeon. Find our local version of him. My patella tracks poorly causing cartilege degeneration. I could go until a lot more detail if you have specific questions, but start by getting a good doc - and an MRI soon after, then you'll know really what you are dealing with. good luck

Has the PNW (rainier specifically) had a good snowfall year? I want the information to help plan a climbing trip on Rainier in late June. My thought was if it has been a very low snow year perhaps this timeframe needs to be a little earlier for the route being considered (LR). I know there are lots of other variables many of which have yet to play out but just using it as 1 of many data points. thanks
