Anybody know of a good hill to start practicing tele turns on? I would prefer not to pay $60 for a lift ticket, either... Cheers

Are there any tall, gangly guys out there (like 6'3", 190 pounds) who've found a good fit? I tried the MicroPuff, and found the medium to fit well, except the sleeves were too short. The large was way too big to be warm, even with a few layers underneath. I suspect this is a common problem...

I'm looking to get in some tele skiing around Paradise soon, but I haven't camped at Rainier in the winter. Can I van camp up near Paradise, or maybe at Longmire? Does anybody have any experience with this? Cheers

I'm looking to get out of town both days this weekend. Weather's looking okay - cool/cold, but minimal chance of precip. Has anybody been to Leavenworth recently? How's it looking, other than potentially chilly? Any other suggestions?
