  2. Would appreciate any suggestions on using a Kong Gigi/Camp Evo to lower a climber? Have seen the excellent video on safe belaying by Ryan Huetter which works but I believe there is another simpler technique advocated by guide Swis Stockton, which I have been unable to find. Thanks

  4. Hi I am looking forward to climb some ice. Have all the gear but very little ice climbing mileage. Want to get out on a moderate route for starters. NW Buttress of Chair Peak is what most people recommend. I am happy to belay/follow if you want to lead. Any advice would be much appreciated

  14. Need a warm down bag for alpine pursuits. I am 5ft 6 " so would prefer a ' short. Thanks for reading.
  15. My brand new pair of 5.10 Dragon Lace Ups are just too tight for me at a size 9 US.I wear a size 8.5 in the La Sportiva Solutions but these are sized tight for your exact street shoe size. Its advisable to wear these a half size up from your street shoe size if you don't want to wear them like a second skin. Tried them out of the box and couldn't bear the squeeze.
