Called forest service at sedro wooley today - road is blocked at FS12 and FS13 junction. Would be a 5 mile slog to Shcreibers meadows. There is a party set to check back in on Thurs - hopefully they will have more information then. My group is set to try a saturday trip

We are taking the traditional Polish direct route, but it sounds like we will be on the same path for at lease some of the days. We are plan on being on the mountian from Dec 1 - 22nd.

I am heading to Aconcagua in December also - I am planning on using my OR Meteor mits, with an expedition liner. I am also planning on bringing a spare pair of fleece gloves. What route are you taking?? I'd be interested in that if you want to post it in the international board.
