Taking the Guanacos Valley and then traversing after the summit. What about you?

Going on an international expedition later this year. My question is.....Is it standard procedure to tip your guides and if so, how much?

I am going to Aconcagua this December and was hoping someone could recommend to me which overmitt to use. I know there are several good ones out there but I don't want to get too much and definitely don't want too little.

Does anyone use the Ice 9000's? I never see much about them yet they are in every catalog out there. Are they suitable for climbs like Rainier, Cotopaxi and Aconcagua? What is the sizing like? Any other info would be appreciated.
